About Active Lock Centre
Active Lock Centre is a family-run locksmith business in Welwyn Garden City, established in 2000. It is run by Jon Horsley, who discusses the problem, explains the options and attends the job himself. The website cites over 40 years of experience and says the business serves local homes and businesses.
Jon is a member of the Master Locksmiths Association, and the website says he received the association's Nigel Rose Bowl Award in 2018. The business is also described as listed with Hertfordshire Trading Standards, and the website says it is fully insured.
The services described include help with lockouts, using non-destructive entry, repair of faulty locks, and work on uPVC doors. Customers are given clear advice on the available options, and the website says the cost of labour and parts is agreed before work starts. It also links to Neighbourhood Watch door security guidance for householders, and Jon is based locally, with knowledge of the Welwyn Garden City area.
