About AJ Auto Access
AJ Auto Access is a one-person mobile auto locksmith business based in Long Eaton, run by Alex Tivey and working across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. It covers Nottingham, Derby, Beeston, West Bridgford, Spondon and the towns in between. The website says Alex holds full public liability insurance, and the person who answers the phone is the person who does the job.
The services listed are car key replacement, lost car keys, spare car keys, car key programming, lockouts and ignition repair, for cars and vans. Keys are cut and coded at the vehicle, for remote keys, flip keys, transponder keys and keyless smart keys, using dealer-level programming equipment that connects through the OBD port. For lost-key jobs, old keys are removed from the car so that only the new key starts it.
Lockouts are handled with non-destructive entry tools, and ignition repair covers stuck keys and replacing the ignition barrel with a matching key. Customers can send a photo of the key to the business on WhatsApp.
