About Cap Security
Cap Security is a family-run locksmith business based in Thatcham, serving Newbury and the surrounding areas. Founded by Brian Pope, the business is run by Brian, his son Steven, Christine and David. Brian carries out locksmith work, Steven assists on-site, Christine handles administration, and David manages the website and IT.
The services listed are house lockouts, garage locks, lock changes and repairs, rekeying and master key systems, UPVC and aluminium door and window repairs, and electronic locks and keypad entry systems. For lockouts, the business aims to gain entry using non-destructive techniques, or provides full lock replacement if keys are lost. Garage locks include standard and security options, anti-snap and anti-drill locks, and keyed-alike systems. Lock upgrades are offered for insurance compliance, and locks are changed when moving to a new home. Rekeying allows existing locks to be altered to a different key. Master key systems enable a single key to unlock multiple doors. UPVC and aluminium handles, locking mechanisms, hinges and window locking handles are supplied and fitted in white, gold or silver. Electronic locks and keypad entry systems include PIN code, RFID, fingerprint and app-controlled smart locks.
Cap Security covers Thatcham, Newbury and the surrounding areas. The business operates a 24/7 emergency service. It is fully insured.
