About Damo`s Locks

Damo's Locks Ltd is a family-run locksmith business in Maldon with South African roots. It works for residential and commercial clients in Maldon and the surrounding area, including Great Totham, Wickham Bishops, Mayland, Burnham on Crouch, Cold Norton, Hatfield Peverel and South Woodham Ferrers.

The services listed are non-destructive entry, locks changed, new handles and handle upgrades, door locking mechanisms or gearboxes, night latches, and onboard key cutting from its vans. The business says its vans are stocked with a range of supplies for these jobs, and that non-destructive techniques are the first approach when someone is locked out, which can save on replacement parts.

The website describes the business as a registered MLA member. It also offers complimentary home security surveys, in which the current security of a property is assessed and advice is given on improving it and protecting the home from potential intruders. The business discusses and agrees pricing before any work begins.

The Maldon business describes itself as family-run with South African roots, and it trades as a limited company under the Damo's Locks name. Its phone line is answered 24 hours a day for lockouts.

Once inside, it can change the locks or fit new handles.

On door mechanisms it replaces worn gearboxes and night latches, and it sorts doors that have jammed and will not open or close. The enquiry form adds a broken key service and gate locks, with garage door handles and key cutting from the van also listed.
