About Drummond Security Locksmiths
Drummond Security is a family-run locksmith and security business, established in 1958 by Jim Drummond Senior. It now works from premises in Knebworth and Potters Bar, serving Hertfordshire, and much of its work comes through word of mouth and repeat customers.
Its services include domestic and automotive locksmith work, including repairing, replacing and reglazing doors and windows with multipoint mechanisms, and a mobile car key cutting workshop. The business has been installing deadlocks, slamlocks and security repair plates for over 15 years, and cuts keys from its Knebworth and Potters Bar shops, including dimple and tubular keys.
Other services are security gates, grills and shutters, domestic and commercial CCTV installation, and safe supply, fitting, openings and repairs. Commercial work covers high-security locks, access control systems and key duplication. The team includes Jim Drummond as chief locksmith, Erol Osman as senior locksmith for car keys and uPVC repairs, and founder Andrew Drummond.
