About Proxima Diagnostics

Proxima Diagnostics is an automotive electrical and locksmithing business based in Grays. It diagnoses electronic faults in vehicles, cuts and programmes car keys for most makes and models, installs alarm systems, and carries out module coding and programming. The business also repairs faulty modules and offers ignition repair services for specific vehicle types such as Mercedes models.

The business covers vehicles across the UK and provides a mobile service within the M25 areas. Diagnostics use dealer diagnostic tools and advanced techniques including oscilloscopes to identify faults. Key cutting and programming are completed in-shop while customers wait, or on-site for vehicle access. The business states it has over 90% vehicle coverage for diagnostics, programming, keys and unit repair.

Proxima Diagnostics works with fleet operators, vehicle dealerships, garages, auto centres, insurance companies, bodyshops, vehicle hire and leasing businesses, and breakdown and recovery services. For business customers, a mobile service operates within the M25. The business has 25 years of on-field experience in automotive electrical systems. It prioritises repairing faulty modules whenever possible, only replacing parts when damage is beyond repair. Lock changes, key replacements and transponder programming are offered for rental and leased vehicle fleets. Module repair services are listed with fixed prices for specific vehicle models.
