About Thanet Locksmiths Ltd
Thanet Locksmiths Ltd is a locksmith business founded in 2019 by Ian Stevenson, who lives and works in Thanet. Ian describes more than 35 years in the security industry and over six years serving the local community as a locksmith. The business serves homes and businesses in Ramsgate, Margate, Cliftonville, Broadstairs, Birchington, Westgate and the surrounding Thanet villages, and the website also mentions East Kent. Customers speak directly to Ian rather than a call centre.
The services listed are lockouts using non-destructive entry with picking and bypass tools, snapped and stuck key extraction, uPVC repairs, lock replacements and upgrades, burglary repairs and key safe installation. The uPVC work covers slipped cams, jammed handles, gearbox and mechanism repairs, and misaligned doors. Upgrades include 3 Star anti-snap cylinders and high-security British Standard mortice locks, and key safes can be supplied and fitted for care access or holiday lets.
The website says the business works for domestic and commercial properties and gives free, fixed quotes before work begins.
