About Try Security Ltd

Try Security Ltd is a mobile locksmith business based in Egham, Surrey, founded in 2002 by Oliver Try. It serves the Egham and Staines area and the surrounding communities, for both domestic and commercial customers. The website describes the business as a member of the Master Locksmiths Association, and says Oliver is a Master locksmith and a member of the British Locksmiths Institute, with over 20 years of experience.

The services listed include opening locks using non-destructive techniques where possible, and supplying and replacing locks. The business replaces lock mechanisms, cylinders and handles for uPVC, composite and metal doors, including bi-fold doors, and upgrades locks to meet insurance requirements. It also supplies and fits door closers, handles, latches, smart locks, mechanical and electronic digital locks, home safes, key cabinets and key safes.

Try Security also supplies and installs wireless alarm and entry phone systems and access control systems, including the Paxton range and the Clique range from Mul-T-Lock. A sister company specialises in master key systems.

Oliver Try set the business up in 2002 and has spent more than 20 years at the trade, running it as a fully mobile service with a van stocked with locks and alternative security options. Customers are domestic and commercial, mainly in Egham and Staines, and one example on the site is a digital lock fitted to a garden room in Datchet, Berkshire.

Non destructive opening is used where possible, after which the firm can supply and replace locks to leave the property secure. Locks are replaced and upgraded to meet insurance requirements, and the firm can source hardware to match what is already on a door. Blog posts cover garage door security, gate locks and the Mul-T-Lock One Key House system, which Try Security fits.

Door work spans uPVC, composite and metal doors, including bi-folds, with replacement mechanisms, cylinders and handles. The firm supplies and fits door closers, handles and latches, as well as smart locks and digital code locks for outbuildings. It plans master key systems, fits Gate Master gate locks and adds protection to garage doors, which the site notes are a common target for thieves.

Egham, Staines and the surrounding areas.
