About Watford Car Keys
Watford Car Keys is an auto locksmith business run by Matt, a sole trader. Matt has been trading in the locksmith industry for seven years and is CRB-checked. The business replaces lost car keys, cuts spare transponder keys and remotes, unlocks cars, replaces ignition systems, rekeys or replaces door lock sets, replaces Mercedes steering locks, and deletes stolen keys. Car key programming and van keys and locks are also offered.
The business offers 24-hour auto locksmith services across a wide area including Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Rickmansworth, Croxley Green, Harrow, Berkhampstead, Pinner, St Albans, Borehamwood, Uxbridge, Slough, High Wycombe, Welwyn Garden City, Edgware, Barnet, Luton, Milton Keynes, Heathrow and Hatfield. Matt operates from headquarters at the junction of the M25 and M1 motorways and provides emergency callout work. Matt helps customers resolve simpler situations over the phone. All parts supplied come with a 1-year warranty. A discount is available on two keys and repeat business. As a sole trader, Matt's prices are lower than those of large organisations and dealerships with higher operating costs.
About Watford Car Keys
Matt was born in Watford and lived there for 19 years before spells in Spain and then Manchester, where he learned the trade alongside an experienced locksmith and worked for several firms. When the coronavirus lockdown stopped most domestic work he moved into vehicle locks, then returned to his home town and set up Watford Car Keys; the site puts him in his seventh year of trading.
He works on his own and says keeping up with the immobiliser systems on newly released cars is a standing part of the job. Around 95% of jobs, by his figure, are finished at the first visit, and replies to the website form go out by text message.
His base near the M25 and M1 junction lets him head out in any direction across the towns he lists, from Luton and Milton Keynes in the north to Slough and Heathrow in the south.
Work Watford Car Keys names
The vehicle list names replacement remotes for lost keys, rekeying or replacing car door lock sets, and new steering locks for Mercedes models. Broken keys and getting into a locked car sit alongside these on the homepage. The enquiry form asks whether the car has push button start, which points to keyless systems being part of the work.
