You're in Lock

About You're in Lock

You're in Lock is a sole trader locksmith business in Dorchester, run by Tim Ramsell, who works alone. Tim spent 15 years in the aircraft industry as a helicopter fitter before qualifying as a locksmith with level 4 accreditation. He moved to Dorchester 10 years ago and started the business. He holds a Disclosure and Barring Service check and is fully insured. A 24-hour service runs 7 days a week.

Tim fits all types of locks to windows and doors, whether a window restrictor, a lock upgrade or a new installation. Locks can be fitted from new, swapped like for like or upgraded. The locks listed are euro cylinders, night latch and rim cylinders, mortice deadlocks, mortice sash locks and multipoint locking mechanisms for uPVC style doors, in British Standard BS3621 and other versions. Smart locks such as the Yale Conexis and Yale Keyfree range are fitted, together with mechanical digital push button locks, key fob, card reader and keypad access control, magnetic locks, electric strike releases, gate locks and garage door locks.

When several identical locks are fitted, one key can be provided to fit them all. The business also offers lock changes for people who have moved into a new home or business property and want to upgrade locks to meet insurance requirements. Locks are kept in stock for doors and windows, and others can be sourced on request. The business works in Dorset and the surrounding areas.
