What moves the price
- The grade. A TS 007 3 star or SS 312 Diamond cylinder costs more than a 1 star cylinder, which then needs a 2 star handle to match.
- Size. Longer and unusual sizes, and cylinders with a thumbturn, cost more.
- Keyed alike. Several cylinders on one key are ordered as a set.
- Restricted keys. Copy-protected keys cost more to add later: from £21.15 each on the MLA's 2026 list.
- Handles. If the old handle is worn, or the cylinder cannot sit flush, a security handle may be needed too.
