Capital Locks Ltd is a locksmith business based in Worthing, run by Malcolm and established in 2004. The website says it has served the local community and surrounding area for 22 years. It works in Worthing and across West Sussex, and describes itself as fully insured.

The services listed include opening doors for people who are locked out or have lost or snapped their keys, changing locks for people who have just moved in, and fitting locks for doors, garages and windows, with BS3621 locks a priority for installation. It also repairs and replaces faulty locks, specialises in uPVC door and window locks, uPVC repairs and Euro cylinders, and replaces locks and keys after a burglary.

The business carries out security checks at homes, garages, outbuildings and work premises. Malcolm visits the premises, examines the existing doors and windows, and gives an estimate for upgraded security. The work covers both domestic and commercial customers, and the business supplies locksmith services to estate agents in Worthing.

Security checks are a separate offer: he visits homes, garden sheds and outbuildings or work premises around Worthing, looks over doors and window locks, and gives a written estimate for upgrades. People who have just moved in are advised to change locks in case old keys are still around with neighbours, relatives or former tenants. Locks are changed on house doors and garage doors, and window locks are replaced.

Stock includes 5 lever BS3621 mortice deadlocks and sashlocks, euro mortice locks, traditional and British Standard nightlatches, and keyed alike or master suited locks. External key safes are offered for carers and family, and Gatemate cylinder locks for side gates. uPVC door and window locks and euro cylinders are a stated specialism, along with snapped key problems. Faulty locks caused by age, wear, vandalism or attempted break-ins are repaired or replaced.
